About the Journal
The international electronic scientific journal Culture and Education: Pedagogical and Cognitive Studies has been published annually since 2026 by the Department of Pedagogy, the Cognitive Science program, and the Cognitive Research Laboratory at the Academy of Humanities and Economics in Łódź. The journal's scope is broad and interdisciplinary, addressing issues related to the relationships between culture, upbringing, education, cognition, and human functioning in their social and cultural environment.
The journal publishes research findings and theoretical analyses in pedagogy, cognitive science, psychology, philosophy, communication sciences, and other disciplines that address cognitive processes, learning, human development, and the cultural determinants of knowledge and education. Particular attention is given to works demonstrating the connections between cognitive processes and educational practice, upbringing, social communication, and cultural participation. The journal also publishes review articles, case studies, scientific reviews, and reports on scientific events in the fields of pedagogy and cognitive science.
