Abstract

In the digital era, technologies have become an integral part of everyday life, including education. The study aimed to understand the perceptions and experiences of users related to the use of new technologies in the educational context. The results showed that most respondents use technology primarily for entertainment and daily purposes, not for education. There is also a significant knowledge gap concerning new technologies. Respondents also expressed concerns about the rapid pace of technological development. The study highlights the need for technological education to enable the full exploitation of the potential of technology in education. The integration of technology should be supported by appropriate training for teachers and informing education policymakers about the benefits and threats associated with technology.

  • Marcin Ochojski, University of Humanities and Economics in Łódź

    Holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Pedagogy and is currently pursuing a degree in Resocialization Pedagogy at the University of Humanities and Economics in Lodz. He serves as the chairman of the De Jure student research group and is actively engaged in charitable activities. Additionally, he writes scholarly articles that address social and educational issues impacting youth.
