Abstract

 The article presents reflections on communication between parents and children. The main point of reference is the process of upbringing through appropriate communication in the family. The text contains information about one-way and non-verbal communication, the dangers of closed communication, and authoritativeness in raising a child. Proper communication is crucial in avoiding conflicts and promoting good family relationships.

  • Katarzyna Piekorz, University of Humanities and Economics in Łódź, Branch in Wodzisław Śląski

    Katarzyna Piekorz – For 16 years, I have been professionally running domestic childcare for children from the age of one to four with elements of dogotherapy. At the moment, I am a 3rd year student of Childcare Education at The Academy of Humanities and Economics in Łódź, with a branch in Wodzisław Śląski. My professional interests include social pedagogy and the history of pedagogical thought. My role model is Janusz Korczak. Privately, I am a mother of two adult children. I am interested in literature and art.
