Developing effective preventive strategies regarding risky behaviours among adolescents is becoming increasingly important due to such behaviours becoming socially problematic. The article begins by identifying key threats, such as substance abuse, unhealthy eating habits, excessive use of new technologies, and risky sexual behaviours, which can lead to serious health, social, and emotional consequences. The aim of the article is to highlight the significance of prevention in the context of these behaviours and to present various approaches and tools that can be utilized for effective prevention. Through the analysis of social and health contexts, the article emphasizes the impact of societal and cultural changes on adolescent behaviours and the health consequences associated with risky practices. Furthermore, it identifies risk factors such as low socio-economic status and lack of family-environmental support.
