Abstract

The aim of this publication is to review issues associated with functioning award bonuses schemes in an organization. The article discusses basic concepts of developing and functioning awarding bonuses systems, as well as basic mistakes which can be made at their design stage. Legal aspects of bonuses and the characteristics of bonus schemes in Polish enterprises
have been outlined as well.
