President – first citizen

This article presents the President of Poland as the first citizen. The article describes the important role the President plays in a democratic country among civil society. The article indicates that the special position of President in the country does not exempt him from obeying the law. As head of a democratic state he is obliged to be a role model, caring for the country’s citizens. The President is obliged to fulfil the functions of the office with dignity and respect. The article notes that all his activities are monitored and evaluated. Society can indicate its approval or disapproval of the President during elections.
