Abstract

This article is theoretical in nature, and its aim is to discuss the factors that allow for measuring the work of HR departments and to determine whether they are applicable in any organization, regardless of the nature of its operations or its size. The article seeks to shed light on the measurability of activities aimed at ensuring the effectiveness of tasks related to human resource management, as well as to verify their importance for the functioning of the organization. The author’s goal is to familiarize the reader with the concept of universal workload measurement and to present specific indicators that serve this purpose. Within this study, the reader will find information on six categories of indicators: recruitment indicators, retention and turnover indicators, engagement and satisfaction indicators, training and development indicators, absence indicators, and cost efficiency indicators. The article refers to current research conducted by experts in the field of human resource management and recruitment.

  • Konrad Schroeder, The University of Humanities and Economics in Lodz

    MA in psychology, lecturer at the University of Humanities and Economics in Lodz. He serves as an assistant at the Faculty of Psychology and Pedagogy. He is an accredited trainer of psychosocial competences, certified coach and certified consultant of psychometric tools (Insights Discovery, ILM72, MTQ48). He is a HR consultant and business practitioner managing two companies. He has 20 years of experience in supporting companies in the effective implementation of diagnostic projects and the development of HR processes.
