Management in the field of nursing

This article discusses the issue of management in the field of nursing and the nurse’s role within it. The definitions of the main management terms are outlined. The characteristics that a nurse must have and the tasks a nurse should undertake in order to properly perform his/her function in order to be successful as a manager are discussed. A wide range of specific tasks performed by nurses are characterised by a high level of skill, knowledge and professionalism. Only a nurse with specific knowledge and experience is able to provide proper care for a patient.
