Human resources management in enterprises: theory and practice

Efficient company management is becoming an increasingly important factor in achieving and maintaining competitive advantage. Efficiency results directly from the growing importance of knowledge as a source of the company’s competitiveness. The dynamic development of human resources and personnel issues is extremely important for the functioning of enterprises in changing conditions. This article discusses the issue of human resources management in enterprises in theoretical and practical terms. The main terms related to human resources management are defined, and the purpose and scope of management of these resources are characterised. The author concludes that proper human resource management is constantly updated and keeps growing its development potential as a result of competition and the needs of enterprises for competent employees.
